Balochistan Liberation Army’s Major Attack: Pakistan Gets a 24-Hour Ultimatum
Jai Hind friends, . Today, we will discuss a major incident unfolding in Pakistan. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the Pakistani government following their attack on the Jaffer Express.
BLA’s Attack on Jaffer Express
Recently, BLA fighters attacked the Jaffer Express, a train traveling from Quetta to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They halted the train and took several passengers hostage. Reports suggest that the BLA has demanded the release of political prisoners fighting for Balochistan’s independence. Initially, they gave Pakistan 48 hours to comply, but now the deadline has been reduced to 24 hours.
Pakistan’s Response and Preparation
The Pakistani government is already bracing for a possible massacre. Reports indicate that authorities have prepared over 200 coffins, anticipating heavy casualties. There are fears that negotiations between Pakistan and the BLA might fail, leading to mass killings of hostages.
BLA’s Warning to China
Apart from targeting Pakistan, the BLA has also issued a stern warning to China. They have demanded that China withdraw from Balochistan, particularly from Gwadar, a crucial port for China’s Belt and Road Initiative. The BLA has accused China of exploiting Balochistan’s resources and has made it clear that they will continue their attacks unless China pulls out.
Pakistan’s Dilemma
Pakistan now faces a difficult decision. If they release the political prisoners, they risk emboldening the BLA and losing control over Balochistan. However, if they refuse, they might witness a deadly massacre of hostages. Additionally, China’s involvement has complicated the situation. Reports suggest that China is sending military advisors to help Pakistan, but this move could anger the United States, further isolating Pakistan on the global stage.
Rising Insurgency and Security Crisis
2025 has already been one of the deadliest years for Pakistan’s security forces. With over 255 security personnel killed in insurgent attacks,
