India Wants Revenge of the Pahalgam Attack | Operation Started

Title: Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorism in Kashmir: Time for India to Act Decisively
Today, we’re discussing a very serious and tragic incident—one that exposes the ongoing threat of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir. This recent attack in Pahalgam, where unarmed tourists were brutally assaulted, has shocked the entire nation. Two of the identified terrorists involved—Suleman Shah and Abu Talha—are confirmed Pakistani nationals. Their pictures and sketches have been widely circulated in the media.

The Reality of Pakistani Terror Infrastructure

As per credible intelligence and multiple journalistic reports from the ground, these terrorists were part of a larger network operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). India has long suspected and, in fact, proven Pakistan’s active role in harboring and sending terrorists across the LoC. Current estimates suggest over 115 Pakistani terrorists are active in Jammu & Kashmir, with 42 terror launch pads operational in PoK.

What makes countering this threat even more difficult is the region’s mountainous terrain, which offers countless hiding spots for terrorists. Despite that, our armed forces continue to eliminate threats systematically through various operations like Operation Tikka.

Why Is Pakistan Escalating?

It’s no secret that Pakistan is in deep internal turmoil—its economy is collapsing, political leadership is fractured, and its military is desperate to distract its public. By provoking India or creating a border skirmish, Pakistan’s army aims to unite its people under a false narrative of nationalism. This is classic misdirection.

Furthermore, speeches from top Pakistani military officials and reports of Hamas leaders gathering in Pakistan suggest a larger game plan targeting India, particularly Kashmir. Our security forces and intelligence agencies have flagged these concerns repeatedly.

India’s Response: Words vs. Action

India has made it clear that this cowardly act won’t go unanswered. Our Defence Minister stated firmly that those who committed this attack and those who planned it from behind the scenes will be brought to justice. The statement:
“Blood and water cannot flow together” is not just a warning—it’s a policy India is now being urged to act upon.

Indus Waters Treaty: A Powerful Diplomatic Tool

One significant step India can take is the indefinite suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT). This treaty, signed in 1960, has allowed Pakistan uninterrupted access to rivers that flow from India into its territory. Suspending the treaty legally and diplomatically sends a strong signal that India will not continue cooperation while Pakistan sheds innocent Indian blood.

Several senior diplomats, including former Indian Ambassador to Russia Kawal Sibal, have publicly supported this idea. His statement,

“It’s time to suspend the Indus Water Treaty as a truly meaningful response to the terrorist outrage in Pahalgam,”
reflects the growing consensus among strategic experts.

Why Suspension Makes Sense

This move isn’t about revenge—it’s about strategic pressure. The average Pakistani citizen must begin to feel the consequences of their government’s radical ideology and continued support for terrorism. With water scarcity, there will be public outrage. Only then will internal pressure mount on the Pakistani establishment to change course.

Critics may argue that China could retaliate similarly by disrupting water flow to India, but such scenarios are both unlikely and geopolitically complex. The situation with China is vastly different and doesn’t negate India’s legitimate right to act against Pakistan under the IWT framework.

A Challenge for Indian Security Forces

India’s immediate challenge remains: Identify and neutralize the Pakistani terrorists hiding in Kashmir. Beyond that, targeting masterminds sitting safely across the border will require both precision and bold international strategy.

While we stand in solidarity with the victims’ families and support our armed forces, it’s also time to evaluate whether our long-standing policy of restraint is helping or harming our national security interests.

Now we want to hear from you:
Do you believe India should suspend the Indus Water Treaty?
Do you support a stronger, more proactive response to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism?
